Tehran to hold 1st intl. advanced workshop on neuroscience

TEHRAN, Apr. 29 (MNA) – The first international advanced workshop on neuroscience will be held in Tehran with participation of prominent professors from US, Germany, UK, Switzerland and Iran.

Iran’s first international advanced workshop on neuroscience in collaboration with the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) will be held from April 11 to May 29, 2017, at Tarbiat Modares University and Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran.

The conference aims at introducing PhD and post-doctoral students with advanced research subjects and techniques in the field of cognitive neuroscience. Prominent professors from the US, Germany, UK, Switzerland and Iran will participate in the workshop.

In the past ten years, over seven editions of IBRO workshops on neuroscience have been held in Iran, but this is the first time an advanced workshop requiring infrastructures and high level of knowledge will be organized in the country.

Most advanced workshops organized by IBRO in Asia have been in Japan, China and South Korea.
